Hello Kwon Kim.

My name is Anthony Kim. I am currently in grade 6. In grade six we have 4 blocks per day. Each day we have a schedule planned out. Each day is either a blue or blue star day. There are also white and white star days. Each core block which is english and social studies or math and science is 90 minutes. The other classes are 70 minutes.

In grade six you get a home teacher which is either your math and science teacher or your english and social studies teacher. Your home teacher's classroom is where yoiu have house.

Some of the elective subjects that are availble for you to choose next year when you arrive at middle school are the languages. There are 3 types of languges that can be chosen: French, Mandarin and Spanish. You can also choose instruments too like band and strings.

Classes like Physical Education ( P.E.) is a mandatory class. So is health class. However the school will pick some classes for you to do like design technology, drama, and art and some other choices. You can not pick these classes but they arfe all good classes.

In the cafeteria (also known as the wantilan centre) has a wide varity of food choices and drinks available to buy. The cafeteria has 6 restaurants serving food on the second floor. Those restaurants are moms sub, sari kebab, marisaya, pizza express, towa towa and moms cook. The food ranges from Korean food to sandwiches to just about anything you want. On the bottom floor is another restaurant. It sells burgers and American food. They also sell indian food downstairs. There is even a place where they make you drinks!

If you do not like the food in the cafeteria you can buy your food in two other places. D'toko is a place where the moms sell school supplies and food for a cheaper price than the cafateria. The menu varies every day but they also sell snacks as well. There is also the booster hut which is a place where they sell P.E uniforms and many snacks but there is a less varity of hot food available. In the middle school you have 3 breaks. They are all are not the similar length of time.

There is a lot of after school activities available. If you like to read books there is a huge library available. Also if you like to join clubs there is a whole list of clubs that you can ask your homeroom teacher next year about. The clubs are afterschool.

I wish you good luck when you start grade 6!
